Frankie See (Si Meng Kuan) earned her MFA (Modern Art) in South China Normal University, and Higher Diploma in Visual Arts in Macau Polytechnic Institute. Being a freelance artist now, See has been a school arts teacher and participated in various exhibitions held in Mainland China, Japan, Korea, Canada, Hong Kong and Macao. She is specialized in pottery, photography, painting, installation arts, and textile arts.

In 2018 and 2023, See participated in the Jockey Club ICH+ Innovative Heritage Education Programme – Pass It On@ Tertiary course (Hong Kong Cheongsam Making Technique) to learn cheongsam making. By integrating her original skill of garment making with what is learned from the programme, she aspires to design and make cheongsam for daily use.
